Visualizer/3D Artist

About the Position: AE7 Pittsburgh is looking for a Visualizer/3D Artist to work on a variety of projects, presentations, and design challenges. The candidate will be working with our in-house design professionals that consist of architects, Interior designers, landscape architects and marketing personnel. Preferred candidates will be able to provide creative, visually compelling imagery.
Responsibilities:
-Create impactful 3D renderings and visualizations for contracted projects per the client brief
-Create computer generated 3D artwork for marketing materials and presentations for the marketing and business development teams
-Collaborate with design staff to amplify the character of a space in an imaginative and compelling manner.
-Demonstrate a passion for architectural visualization and 3D graphic
Qualities & skills required:
Essential
-Provide a portfolio that includes samples of computer-generated imagery and post-production ability
-Must provide a portfolio of samples that included exterior and interior building renderings
-Must be able to create photo-realistic images of buildings set into a realistic environment with misc. entourage such as people, landscape, vehicles, etc.
– Advanced knowledge of 3ds Max, Corona or Vray rendering engines, and Adobe Creative Suite
-Able to visually communicate both macro and micro ideas effectively
-Team player with a positive attitude, strong communication skills, and excellent interpersonal skills
-Must be able to communicate professionally, resolving problems effectively and positively
-Able to follow directions, manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and respond to urgent requests
-Good organizational skills, accuracy, and attention to detail. Familiar with working within corporate identity guidelines
-Able to organize projects and project files efficiently
-Ability to meet deadlines and juggle multiple projects
-Knowledge of architecture/landscape architecture/interior design industry is a plus
-Willingness and aptitude to learn about the industry
Desirable:
-Experience in Unreal Engine/Real-time Visualization
-Knowledge of supplemental plugins such as GrowFX, itoosoft, Railclone, and Forest Pack
-Practical knowledge of computer hardware and software
