To create a progressive learning environment, a new interdisciplinary science building was designed to replace the two obsolete science buildings on Hiram College campus. To accommodate the new facility, the campus plan was reorganized and the streets surrounding the site were repurposed for pedestrian paths and green spaces. The new building provides an interactive atmosphere between biology and chemistry departments, fostering a convivial educational opportunity between faculty and students. The modern laboratories were designed and planned through workshops with the faculty to create flexible and adaptive environments for teaching and research.
Some of the AE7 partners were involved in design and management of the project while working at Burt Hill’s USA offices.
