Almaty Hills masterplan transforms pastoral and agricultural land nestled within the rolling hills just outside Almaty (Kazakhstan’s biggest city and cultural hub) into a twenty-first century residential community. In the process, the plan creates a stunning new locale to escape the busy life of the city.

In eyeshot of the Himalayas, the site has amazing topography and potential for outdoor recreational activities. The master plan ensured that the 1,200 new residential units—which range from two bedroom townhouses to luxury signature villas—would be built along a network of open-air corridors comprised of mountain terrain, hiking and biking trails, ski slopes, and breathtaking valleys. Along with luxurious amenities such as an equestrian center and hilltop clubhouse, the plan enables the development of restaurants, shops, fitness centers, and educational facilities to cultivate a robust town center. The town’s hiking, winter sports, and springtime cherry blossom bloom make it a year-round destination. From extraordinary views to modern amenities, the Almaty Hills development encourages residents and visitors to enjoy the remarkable landscape together as a community.
