Located within an existing office building in the center of Abu Dhabi, the Capital Health Screening Center aims to meet the growing demand for high quality healthcare screenings for residency visas, occupational health certificates, and benefits eligibility. With patient convenience and accessibility in mind, this design optimizes the movement of visitors to allow for a unidirectional flow of screening services reducing the appointment time to under 30 minutes.
Bright white interiors complemented with hints of black, cream, and copper create a bright atmosphere that doesn’t feel sterile. Individual testing suites sit behind semi-opaque sliding glass doors, maintaining privacy while still allowing the natural movement of interior light. Horizontal, recessed molding wraps the walls and echo the continuous stripes centered in the marble floor tiling, creating a sense of visual connectivity throughout the reception space. These immaculate lines on both the walls and floors connote the streamlined efficiency of a facility that keeps pace with elite global standards.
