Bloomfield Square is a transformative mixed-use development designed to revitalize the west end of Liberty Avenue at the entrance to the Bloomfield neighborhood. This project will feature a new 10,000-square-foot urban square, retail shops, a 28,000-square-foot community grocery store, 223 market-rate and 25 affordable residential apartments, as well as 120 dedicated retail and 200 resident parking spaces—all thoughtfully integrated into the existing streetscape to enhance the local architecture and public spaces.
As a new gateway to the community, Bloomfield Square will extend the urban corridor, creating a safe, pedestrian-friendly environment that enriches the public realm. The development emphasizes a transit-oriented approach, with access to covered bus shelters, bike storage, and new pedestrian paths. The public square will offer flexible open space for a variety of potential community activities. Beyond its physical presence, this development is a community-driven initiative aimed at maximizing the site’s potential while adding lasting value to the neighborhood. By honoring the architectural heritage of Liberty Avenue and fostering diverse, neighborhood-serving businesses, Bloomfield Square will elevate the quality of life for both residents and visitors.
With a focus on safety, accessibility, and community connection, Bloomfield Square is set to become a vibrant hub that celebrates local culture and fosters an inclusive atmosphere. This development is more than just a mixed-use project—it’s the beginning of a new chapter in the life of the Bloomfield neighborhood, where the community can thrive, connect, and grow.
