One Deira is a single complex containing a hotel, mall, bus terminal, and office building built directly atop an existing underground Gold Souk metro station. With a tasteful aesthetic that seamlessly blends into its historical surroundings, One Deira is also a linchpin in the larger Deira Enrichment Project, which extends the historic Deira neighborhood all the way through to the waterfront.
As a central entry point to the newly extended district—and the county’s first integrated central transport station —One Deira’s two-floor retail podium, 130-room hotel, and modern offices are all effortlessly interweaved to flow with the transportation network. Thousands of residents, commuters, and tourists move swiftly through this pedestrian-oriented design with its convenient walking access through breezeways and tree-lined walkways. Likewise, the tower’s lobby is streamlined for quick access to the many shops and eateries within the tower, as well as to the bus and metro lines. An engineering marvel, One Deira provides a new standard for mixed-use developments in Dubai, while also reflecting the city’s culture and history.
