AE7 were appointed to develop Mina Zayed Fish Market which is located in the Iconic Mina Zayed Port in the northern section of Abu Dhabi Island. The Vision plan creates a destination for a commercial, residential, entertainment and mixed‐use development that embraces the quality exemplified by Abu Dhabi and its vision.

The Master Plan has established the fundamentals and overarching vision for the development, as well as preliminary development statistics for the site. The development shall include various activities and uses such as Markets, Amenities and recreational areas, Mosques, Roads and infrastructure.

The first Phase of the project involves building a new, state of the art, fish market to replace the Mina Fish Market which will remain operational until construction is completed. In addition to the fish market, the new building will house restaurants, cooking stations, seafood cooking school as well as a variety of small retailers to attract tourists and locals alike. The new fish market will continue to promote local fishing industries and maintain a key heritage of Abu Dhabi in this sector.
